Facilities

Our modern facility opened in 2005 and provides us with over 700 square metres of state-of-the-art laboratory space located on the outskirts of Bristol, UK. Our laboratories are designed to complement the capabilities of our scientists and enable us to take projects from conception through to completion as quickly as possible.

Our synthetic chemists work closely with our supply chain and analytical teams to maximise productivity and ensure on time delivery of quality products.

Our philosophy is to develop a safe environment which fosters team working, communication and technical excellence, backed by high levels of productivity and commitment to the on-time delivery of high quality products. We believe that our laboratory supports this philosophy, with top quality fume cupboards and laboratory fittings and established procedures for safe working and waste disposal. Our range of equipment is also extensive, including a Parr hydrogenator, large scale Buchi rotary evaporators and Genevac lyophilization equipment.

Our highly qualified and experienced team of analytical chemists have in-house access to state of the art equipment to match the capabilities of our synthetic chemists, including:

• Bruker 300 MHz multinuclear NMR (¹H,¹³C,³¹P,¹⁹F)
• Agilent HPLC systems (Normal Phase, Rerverse Phase and Chiral)
• Waters MS & LC-MS
• Perkin Elmer IR machine
• Polarimeter

All equipment is maintained via servicing agreements with the manufacturers to ensure reliability of results.
